FIELD: railway transport; mechanization of maintenance jobs. SUBSTANCE: proposed nut-driver has body with power drive mounted in it; power drive has output shaft, reduction gear, overrunning clutch with hub and holder and spindle with working head; high-speed and low-speed stages of gear trains are provided with output shaft each coaxially inserted one into other; sectional spindle consists of coaxially inserted members; sectional working head consists of external and internal members of spindle; overrunning clutch is built in external member of spindle connected with low-speed stage of reduction gear drive. In case of operation of nut-driver in reversible mode, overrunning clutch is made as twin clutch consisting of two members of opposite strokes; it is provided with shift clutch; internal member of spindle is provided with motion nut connected with shift clutch. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of speed shift at required moment; simplified and low-cost construction. 2 cl, 4 dwg
