SUBSTANCE: in compliance with this invention, the minimum and maximum tolerable number of impact-rotary pulses forming the strikes tolerance margin that provides for a high-quality tightening of threaded joints. The aforesaid margin is compared with the total number of the impact-rotary pulses made by the nut runner in tightening till preset torque of the nut runner spindle whereat the nut runner is switched off. Previously mentioned total number of the said pulses, fitting in or out of the said margin, indicates either high-quality or poor tightening.
EFFECT: higher quality of control.
