FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: underglaze paint for porcelain products contains dispersed particles of mineral components bases on kaolin, pegmatite and dye in form of metal oxide, as well as binding agent and water. As dye, applied are oxides of rare-earth metals, namely, cerium oxide and neodymium oxide, or erbium oxide, or praseodymium oxide, with following content of mineral components in paint composition, wt %: kaolin 12.5-15.5, pegmatite 24.5-27.5, rare-earth metal oxide 57.5-62.5. Quantitative ratio of mineral components to binding agent and to water (wt parts) is 1:(0.09-0.16):(0.45-1.0).
EFFECT: obtaining of underglaze paints for porcelain products with stable optical and colour characteristics regardless from content of carbon oxide in gas medium of furnace and burning temperature, extension of colour tone range in decoration of porcelain products.
