FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to compositions of sintered alloys on the basis of iron. It can be used for manufacturing of sealing rings for pipeline fittings. Alloy contains, wt %: copper 25.0-30.0; phosphorus 0.1-0.2; nickel 2.0-3.0; silver 0.1-0.2; zinc 2.0-3.0; strontium 0.1-0.2; iron - the rest. Alloy allows high plasticity and strength and provides seal tightness at pressure 6-6.5 kilogram-force/cm2.
EFFECT: hardening and plasticity increasing of alloy.
