FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy particularly dealing with iron-base sintered alloys. It is to be used for seal rings manufacture. The proposed iron-base sintered alloy contains (wt %): copper (30.0-32.0%); phosphorus (0.1-0.15%); germanium (0.005-0.009%); silver (0.1-0.15%); cerium (0.25-0.35%); niobium (0.05-0.09); iron (balance).
EFFECT: high plasticity of the material.
