FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in construction of sewage, water and gas utilities, and also telephone and cable lines. Hatch of inspection chamber includes body with grooves that coincide with protrusions of cover, body with grooves limited by collar along perimetre, height of which is equal to cover height, and collar has slots arranged in areas of stop plates location. Rubber sealant is located on cover and is arranged in the form of disc with cylindrical part slant to cover side and excess of disc lower base diametre above diametre of grooves circumference. Rubber sealant is equipped with stop device arranged in the form of stop plates with fixators and interacting with cover protrusions. Surface of rubber sealant larger diametre has profile that corresponds to relief of road bed.

EFFECT: exclusion of accidents since hatch covers opening on road passage is prevented, and also damage of road bed.
