SUBSTANCE: method to replace a support board of a well in a traffic area of motor roads includes dismantling a cover of an old well, installation of a cone support, the lower diameter of which is more than the diameter of the well part on the surface equipped with a hatch seat. The old well cover is cut with a cutter having a profile complying with the profile of the lower part of the installed cone support. Cutting is carried out at the depth exceeding the support height, making a groove at the same time. The cone support is installed above the produced groove. The space between the support and the groove is filled with a hardening material.

EFFECT: improved frost resistance and durability of a road carpet adjoining a well.
