FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: method for pre-start-up heating of internal combustion engine is based on heating of liquid coolant in heater and its forced pumping with circulation pump via heated circuit of engine. Heating of liquid coolant is carried out in vortex liquid heater combined with circulation pump, and circulation pump drive is executed with air micro-turbine, which is supplied with compressed air from receiver.
EFFECT: acceleration of pre-start-up engine heating process, reduction of heat losses.
