FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to operation of military vehicles for preparation of combustion engine of auxiliary power plant (APP) of vehicle for launching in low ambient air conditions. Technical solution consists in a set of technological methods - heating of motor oil of APP engine by electric heating device arranged in crankcase of engine, heating of cooling liquid of cooling system of APP engine by electric heating device, arranged in a pipe supplying cooling liquid to water pump of engine, electric heating devices for heating of air for combustion and fuel, arranged in engine, operating from storage battery of vehicle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of service life and expansion of functional capabilities of vehicle.
