FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to devices that transform rotary motion into translation. The proposed device comprises the housing with slots, translating working member that represents bodies of revolution and rotary drive member representing a drive sprocket with pitch "t". The said bodies of revolution that mate the drive sprocket tooth slots and engage the sprocket are arranged in the said slots. The end faces of the said bodies of revolution features equal-sized ledges with sizes multiple of 0.5t. The actuator member elements can be interconnected in parallel or in series. One of the slots features a slider for the slot to be jointed to the drive mechanism. Note here that the slider is arranged nearby one row ends and can be jointed to the said row directly and/or to its opposite end via a flexible link.
EFFECT: simplified design, higher reliability and ease of manufacture.
