FIELD: physic; computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used in making automation equipment and functional parts of control systems. The aim of the invention is increase in functional capabilities due to provision for the relationships A>B, A=B, where A, B are binary numbers, assigned by binary numbers, when comparing three-digit binary numbers. The binary number comparator contains three EXCLUSIVE OR elements, four NO-AND elements, three OR elements, NO-OR element and an AND element, connected accordingly to inputs and outputs of the binary number comparator.
EFFECT: more functional capabilities.
