FIELD: physics, computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering and can be used for building automation equipment and functional units of control systems. The technical result is achieved by a binary number comparator, which is designed to generate features of relationships A>B, A=B, where A=a1a0, B=b1b0 are two-bit binary numbers determined by binary signals a0, a1, b0, b1 ∈ {0,1}, and comprise three XOR elements (11, 12, 13), four AND elements (21, 22, 23, 24) and four NOT elements (31, 32, 33, 34).
EFFECT: invention simplifies the device by reducing the number of types of logic elements used.
