FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering and may be used in more than 1000 V switchgears. The switchgear consists of the first shell where the first terminal for input/output connection is located. The disconnecting unit includes the first fixed contact, which is functionally coupled with the first terminal, and the first movable contact capable of being connected or disconnected with the first fixed contact during operation of disconnecting unit. The circuit breaker is coupled with the disconnecting unit and includes a pair of breaking contacts. The latter may be brought into operation if the circuit breaker operates between its closed position, when the said contacts are closed, and open position, when they are electrically open. The unit, which brings the breaking contacts into operation, is intended for controlling disconnecting unit and circuit breaker. The second shell of the switchgear is functionally connected with the above actuation unit. There are breaking contacts in the said shell. The first movable contact is installed on the external surface of the shell. So, the second shell is installed so that it can turn inside the first shell and ensures rotation of the first movable contact during the disconnecting unit operation. The pair of breaking contacts is coupled with the actuation unit. The contacts are electrically connected when the circuit breaker is in closed position and, mainly, stationary as regard to each other when the second shell rotates.
