SUBSTANCE: invention concerns phytotherapy. The biologically active additive for prevention and treatment of vegetative-vascular dystonia contains an oil extraction, a dried up water extraction from a root with rhizomes of common valerian, a root with rhizomes of horseheal, grass of creeping thyme, grass of origanum, and colours of an sandy everlasting, taken in the ratio p.: 0.8-1.2:0.8-1.2:0.8-1.2:0.8-1.2:0.8-1.2 accordingly, linen oil, thiamin hydrochloride, riboflavin, and pyridoxine hydrochloride. The way of reception includes oil, and then water extraction of vegetative raw materials with the subsequent addition of vitamins and linen oil. The biologically active additive is effective for prevention and treatment of a vegetative-vascular dystonia on hypotonic and hypertensive type, restores basic indicators of cardiohemodynamics at an acute alcoholic intoxication and provides safety and efficiency of action of vitamins of "B" group for a long time.
