FIELD: pharmacology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biologically active additives (BAA) with a sedative-antidepressant effect. The BAA consists of an extract of griffonium (Griffonia simplicifolia), glycine, vitamin B₆, a mixture of medicinal plants consisting of equal parts of a valerian extract and a melissa extract. At that, griffonium extract, glycine, melissa extract, valerian extract and vitamin B₆ correlate as parts as (2-10):(4-15):(1-5):(1-5):(0.05-0.5) respectively.

EFFECT: invention allows to get a new BAA with improved gustatory characteristics with enhanced sedative and antidepressant effects, which can be used as a general tonic and mild sedative for reduce aggressiveness, instability of mood, depression, high fatigue, irritability, anxiety, difficulty concentrating, violations of appetite and sleep disorders, premenstrual and menopausal syndromes, strengthen cognitive functions.
