FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: device for assembly of rubber-cord casings comprises expanding assembly drum, which is installed vertically and consists of two parts, upper one having groove for fixation of small bead ring with bracelet and lower one having limiter for bracelet fixation, both parts are equipped with individual drive for expanding, at that detachable supports are installed sequentially on stand for pressurising of large bead. Assembly of large-scale rubber-cord casings is implemented in single stage on vertical expanding drum in the following sequence: hanging of bracelet of cord layers onto expanding assembly drum, placement of small bead ring, pressurising of small bead with simultaneous moulding of casing into U-shaped form, placement of large bead ring and pressurising of large bead.

EFFECT: even stretching of rubber threads in assembly of large-scale rubber-cord casings with textile or metal cord in frame, accurate placement of bead rings and higher quality.
