FIELD: automobile industry. SUBSTANCE: unit has frame with drive shaft and guides and tire assembly drum positioned on drive shaft. Drive carriage is installed on guides. Unit includes templets for bead rings, body with drive drum for assembly of breaker-protector band and facility designed to transfer breaker-protector band to drum for assembly of tires. Unit is provided with locks. At least one of locks is releasing. Locks are immovable with respect to shaft. They are positioned between frame and drum for assembly of tires. Carriage is provided with auxiliary guides on which additional drive carriage movable relative to main carriage is mounted. Each carriage is fitted with templet for bead ring.
