FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: device for purifying liquid contains an electrocoaguator, installed in the top part of a reservoir with liquid to be purified, comprising a case and a horizontal perforated anodic current conductor with a bulk anode placed on it. The said case is made from dielectric material, and its sidewalls and bottom are uniformly perforated. The reservoir is earthed. Above the case there is a nozzle for discharging purified water on the bulk anode.
EFFECT: increased efficiency due to faster formation of coagulant and rate of its circulation from the electrocoagulator to the reservoir with purified water.
