FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention is referred to measurement and testing equipment. Effect is attained due to measurements of pressure at input and output of each pumping unit, at input and output of pipeline between two adjacent pumping stations, consumed active power by each drive motor of pumping unit, cross-section and length of trunk pipeline section between adjacent pumping stations during determination of leakage value and point in trunk pipeline between two adjacent pumping stations in oil and oil products delivery pumping system. Telecontrol system is used for data transfer from pumping station to central control room (CCR). By means of pressure gages pressure is measured at input and output of each pump at current time. At the beginning and at the end of trunk pipeline section between adjacent pumping stations values of active power consumed by drive motors in the pump net are measured and number of operating pump is specified. Digital clock measures flow time of liquid in the pipeline between two adjoining pumping stations, which outputs are connected to telecontrol system. Telecontrol system transfers data to CCR, to computers with database for each pump unit. Based on obtained current data values of power at pump shaft assembly pressure created by each pump and consumption index for pump unit are calculated. Received values of consumption and pressure drop at trunk pipeline section for two adjacent pumping stations are compared with preceding values; if these values are not equal then point of leakage in the pipeline will be determined against digital clock with countdown option activated at pipeline start-up. Simultaneously against known value of consumption time required for flow-over of liquid in the pipeline from one station to another is determined. When this time is over clock reset is made and the latter starts countdown again. If leakage appears in operation process then consumption values at adjacent stations will not be equal; in this case signal will be sent to stop clock showing time from leakage beginning during liquid flow-over from one station to another. By known time value distance to point of leakage is determined; leakage value is evaluated by difference in consumption values at adjacent pumping stations.
EFFECT: invention provides timely detection of leakage value and point in trunk pipeline.
