SUBSTANCE: invented is an optical disc with high recording density, for example multiple recording Blu-ray disc (BD-RE - Blu-ray Disc Rewritable) or a read-only Blu-ray disc (BD-ROM), and method of recording/reading for the said disc. Different additional information, such as information on reflecting power of the recording medium, information on layers of the disc or type of the disc, is recorded in a separate information field, included in the data unit, recorded in the burst cutting area (BCA) of the optical disc with high recording density, such that the disc can be read when put in an optical disc reading device.
EFFECT: achieving optimum regulation of optical power and automatic regulation of amplification or determination of current position during normal recording or reading data in accordance with the type of optical disc.
