SUBSTANCE: in a data structure for managing playback of graphic information, a first graphic information menu is stored in a first clip file separately from a second clip file which contains main audio/video data, and a second graphic information menu is stored multiplexed with the main audio/video data in the second clip file. The management area on the disc stores one or more PalyList files, which denote clip files to be played through the corresponding clip information (ClipInf) file. The playlist file contains at least one sub-play item (SubPlayItem), which contains navigation information for playing the said first clip file. The first graphic information of the interactive menu is displayed up request by a user. The second graphic information of the interactive menu is always displayed on the screen for the duration of the playback unit to which information of the second interactive menu is applied.
EFFECT: structure enables a disc creator to provide different types of a pop-up menu suitable for data attributes of the playback unit associated with the menu.
