FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in agriculture and refers to compositions destined for plants disease control. The water solution of copper sulphate with copper concentration in the range from 6 to 10 wt % is mixed with water suspension of copper oxide or copper hydroxide with copper concentration in the range from 15 to 50 wt %. The average particles' diametre of the said suspension does not exceed 25 mcm which provides the enhancing of the specific surface area. The mole ratio SO4/Cu is maintained in the range from 0.25 to 0.4. The reaction is carried out at the temperature range from 40° to 100°C. The copper content in the solid phase of the obtained brochantite Cu4(OH)6SO4, antlerite Cu3(OH)4SO4 or their mixture is more than 48 wt %. The fungicide compositions thereof contain additionally one or more additives such as disperser, wetting agent, antifoam agent, colourant, thickener, pH regulator or fillers and at least one synthetic fungicide.
EFFECT: increasing of the copper weight fraction in the solid phase of the copper hydroxosulphates and fungicide compositions thereof and absence of by-products such as gypsum and sodium and potassium sulphates.
