FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrometallurgy, particularly to extraction method of nonferrous metals from ore by heap leaching. Method includes formation of heap from ore, leaching of formed heap from ore by solution of sulfuric acid, collection and processing of productive solution. Before leaching over heap from ore it is located additional layer of over-balance ore, containing nonferrous metals, of height not less than 1 m. Heap leaching, formed from ore, with additional layer of nonferrous metals is implemented at a filtration rate of leaching solution not less than 0.1 m/day.
EFFECT: increasing of nonferrous metals extraction rate.
