FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric engineering, instrumentation and also installation technique and measurement of grounding devices. Suggested device is used for screw electrodes driving into soil. In this device base plate used for operators' location is divided into two symmetrical parts interconnected by hinge. Halves of guiding nut for screw electrode are fixed at both parts of base plate; at upper part there is clamp for temporary fixing of handles and cables. Base plate can be removed from electrode or be fixed at it at any depth of soil; it can be used many times both for electrodes mounting and dismounting.
EFFECT: extension of screw electrode application area; perfecting of device for screw electrodes driving into soil; reduction of time and labour costs for works performance.
