SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for reading and recording images. The result is achieved due to that, the device contains a recording module, which records an image on a recording medium, and a reading module which can be opened and closed, attached to the recording module, and has a plate for the original, on which the original document is put, and a unit for a clamping plate, which presses the original to the said plate. A restraining module can hold the reading module in closed position. The restraining module does not operate in closed position of the unit for the clamping plate and operates in open position of the latter.

EFFECT: prevention of unexpected opening of the reading module.
