FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a toner cartridge and a toner supply mechanism for forming an electrophotographic image. Disclosed group of inventions includes versions of toner cartridges, installed with possibility of extraction into receiving device, and mechanism of toner supply. Disclosed is a toner cartridge installed with possibility of being withdrawn into a receiving device, wherein said receiving device includes a receiving hole for toner, closing force application section comprises: a container including a toner accommodation portion and a toner discharge opening from the accommodation portion, opening/closing element, including closing section for closing said outlet opening and closing force receiving section, wherein said opening/closing member is configured to move relative to said container between a closed position to cause closure of said outlet with said closing portion and open position for opening of said outlet opening by said closing section, wherein said opening/closing element includes front end, which is located on downstream side of said opening/closing element relative to closing direction, in which said opening/closing member moves to close said outlet, and wherein said opening/closing member extends from said front end to said closing force reception portion in range greater than 180° perimeter of said container on the form of said toner cartridge in the longitudinal direction of said container, wherein said closing force receiving portion is configured to receive force to move said opening/closing element from an open position to a closed position when said toner cartridge is removed from said receiving device.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of convenience and ease of use when performing actions when a user installs a toner cartridge into a developing unit.
