SUBSTANCE: electronic forest tree calliper includes guideline, immovable leg, rigidly fixed on guideline, slide block, movable leg and compensator, fixed on slide block. Slide block is manufactured from nonmagnetic material and outfitted by Hall's sensor, integrated circuit of signal conditioning with electronic send-receive, display, passive magnet for slide block fixation on guideline, power supply element. Guideline is implemented from nonmagnetic material and outfitted by passive magnet after each 1 cm according to the scale.

EFFECT: maintainability increasing of the device, diametre measurement, calculation of wood volume on place by the received diametre.
