FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to lift-and-carry mechanical engineering, particularly: to control cab of pouring crane. Control cab of pouring crane contains basis (1), side fence (3) with top windows (4) and bottom windows (5), protecting screen (9), mounted outside the cab with ability of rotation relative to it by means of driving (12). Protecting screen (9) is implemented in the form of metal plate (19), which is installed with ability of rotation on basis (1) of vertical axis (11), one end of which is connected to drive (12), and the second end is rigidly connected to bottom part of protecting screen (9). Outside the cab on side fence (3) it is rigidly mounted located in horizontal plane arched guide (14), center of circle of which is matched with swivel axis of protecting screen (9). To the top part of protecting screen (9) there are pivotally, with the ability of rotation in horizontal plane, there are fixed rollers (16), installed with ability of travel by mentioned guide (14).
EFFECT: it is achieved effectiveness increase of cab protection against molten metal at simultaneous design simplification.
