USE OF POLYMER IN FORM OF DISPERSION AS FRICTION REDUCING AGENT IN AQUEOUS FRACTURING FLUIDS Russian patent published in 2009 - IPC C09K8/68 E21B43/26

Abstract RU 2363719 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of using water-soluble polymers in form of dispersion for reducing friction in aqueous fracturing fluid when pumping it at high speed through casing pipes of an oil well or pipe column. Method of reducing friction, arising from flow turbulence in aqueous fracturing fluid during hydraulic fracturing of oil deposits involves addition of an amount of at least one dispersion polymer, sufficient for reducing friction, into the aqueous fracturing fluid. The dispersion polymer consists of approximately 50 - 95 mol % one or several non-ionic monomers and 5-50 mol % one or several cation or anion monomers and has molecular weight of at least 100000. The dispersion polymer is dispersed in an aqueous continuous phase, containing one or several inorganic salts, before addition into the fracturing fluid. The invention is developed in formula subclaims.

EFFECT: obtaining environment-friendly processing systems in the oil industry.
