FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanical engineering and can be used in hot-rolled tubes manufacturing. The saw contains planet gear mounted on its body. Electric motors with cutting wheels are placed on peripheral shafts of this planet gear. Mechanism for tube feed for sawing is made in the form of yoke lever connected with solenoid, and return spring. The saw is performed with tube lifter with beam on which rollers are placed. In this device the beam is pivotally installed on two tilted levers lower ends of which are connected by hinges with flying saw body, and at the beam center portion copying template is placed. Copying template is interacting with roller positioned on axis fixed to lever of feeding mechanism.
EFFECT: tube square ends are obtained in cutting, metal losses are reduced and tube quality is improved as related to decrease in curvature.
