FIELD: automotive industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automotive industry, particularly to elastic suspension of city bus front wheel beam. Proposed pneumatic suspension comprises pneumatic cylinders that form elastic pneumatic elements and guide apparatus consisting of lengthwise and skew links. Pneumatic cylinders seat on hollow rectangular cross section pillars inclined towards the wheels. Aforesaid pillars have plate-like base and seat on flats formed on wheel beam tubular crosspiece tips. Proposed beam is arranged between journals of the wheels, tight below their axles. There is a shelf arranged on top of every pillar whereon the plate is placed and crewed thereto to close pillar cavity.
EFFECT: higher strength, lower metal input.
