FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy immediately dealing with compositions of cast alloys used for manufacture of products operating under friction and increased wear conditions. The alloy contains carbon, boron, silica, manganese, cobalt, chrome, hafnium and iron, the components ratio (wt %) being as follows: carbon - 1.5 - 2.0%, boron - 1.5 - 2.0%, silica - 1.5 - 2.0%, manganese - 4.0 - 6.0%, cobalt - 26.0 - 30.0%, chrome - 26.0 - 30.0%, hafnium - 8.0 - 10.0%, iron - balance.
EFFECT: enhanced hardness of the alloy.
