FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of mechanical engineering and may be used on highways of passenger and freight railway transport. The journal rolling bearing contains inner and outer rings with race ways, rolling bodies fitted between them. Rolling bodies represent rollers installed in separator sockets. The rollers are made two-step. Larger diametre of roller step is only rolled over race way of bearing outer ring. Smaller diametre of roller step is made with two regions which are only rolled over race ways of inner ring with constant and equal rotation frequency. Race way of the bearing inner ring is made with slot to form gap with large diametre of roller step. In the zone where two journal bearings meet, there are rings serving as vibrational contour. These rings are mounted on axes, inner holes of rings have various shapes: cardioid, hypocycloid, triangle, pentagon; the latter are able to roll over and contact with surfaces of journal bearing inner and outer rings, and their number is equal to prime integer number as well as distributed masses of rings.
EFFECT: providing higher rotation frequency, higher reliability and durability, reduction of frictional torque and friction factor; bearing operation without roller slip.
