SUBSTANCE: invention concerns radio engineering and microwave frequency technique, and can be used in radio-electronic equipment. The low frequency microstrip filter contains a substrate with relative dielectric constant ε and thickness d, with an isotropic metal screen implemented on one side, and on the other side, at least, two identical metal conductors in the form of pieces of the zigzags-lines located on distance from each other, not exceeding width of the system formed by one conductor; the square-topped dielectric zigzag interposing is symmetrically located is executed between them. The technical result is reached because the width of the microstrip filter is equal to a quarter of the slow wave length, and the dielectric insert is executed from a substance with a relative dielectric constant (8…10) ε with the width equal to width of metal conductors and thickness equal (1.5…1) d. Metal conductors of pieces of the zigzags-lines can be electrically aggregated among themselves and with a dielectric insert in points with an identical phase of a field of the slow wave.

EFFECT: reduction of dimensions and accurate arresting of a cutoff frequency of the filter in the absence of the higher parasitic pass-bands.
