FIELD: technological processes, metal working.

SUBSTANCE: method includes deformation of billet by two cylindrical rollers with action at roller axes to one side. Elimination of wedging in strip cross section is provided by the fact that forces are applied via cushions of working rollers to journals by means of hydraulic cylinders of hydraulic bending system in horizontal plane, as a result, axes of working rollers are deformed and take the shape of the second order lines, besides, convexities of axes are oriented (directed) to the side of strip entry into working rollers (with convexity towards rolling direction), moreover, ends of working rollers installed on the side of thicker edge of strip are displaced to the side of strip exit from working rollers, and ends of working rollers arranged on the side of thinner edge of strip are located perpendicular to direction of strip rolling. Afterwards, rolled strip is fed into working rollers and is deformed, as a result, in process of rolling end profile of rolled strip cross section takes the shape of rectangle.

EFFECT: improved quality of strips by elimination of cross section shape defect.
