FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to strip cold rolling. Claimed process comprises strip multipass rolling at cold-rolling mill with rolling rolls of S-like shape turned relative to each other through 180 degrees, mutual axial displacement of rolls and their anti-bend supported by hydraulic cylinder. Production of high-permeability high-quality geometry, structure and texture transformer steel results from rolling in working rolls with edge skews made at roll bodies at total reduction of 85-90% and increased strip temperature in last passes. Note here that last pass reduction makes at least 85-95% of mean reduction of previous passes. Mill comprises top and bottom working rolls of S-like shape developed relative to each other through 180 degrees. Axial displacement means and systems of shape adjustment and rolled strip flatness allows for mutual axial displacement of rolls and their anti-bending by hydraulic cylinders. Roll body features edge skews of specified depth and length.
