SUBSTANCE: invention relates to tools, used at construction and finishing works, particularly at implementation of plastering, for floating of plastering. Tool for formation and smoothing of plastering layer contains darby, device for definition of position of bearing edge of darby relative to future surface of plastering layer, and darby contains as minimum one component with movable relative to bearing edge of tool bearing sliding or rolling surface, by which darby can manually be pressed to smoothing surface and which can slide or roll by smoothing surface, and drive of progressive or rotary action, by means of which specified bearing surface can be moved relative to bearing edge darby, changing, inter alia, amount of clearance between bearing edge of tool and smoothing surface up to any value.

EFFECT: receiving of true with required accuracy rating of plastering surface, formed by method of application of plaster on smoothing vertical and horizontal surfaces, reduction of period of production of specified works, improvement of implementation of specified works, reduction of its laboriousness, fault of labour-intensive operation of installation of screed profiles, development of compact, comfortable when in use tool for specified kind of plastering.
