FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and can be used for correction of the patient's condition in scapulohumeral periarthritis (SHP). The patient lies in prone position with his trunk and head comfortably positioned on a massage table, and hands as desired alongside the trunk, while legs lifted in ankles. Then a masseur starts exposure from the opposite side with making easy pushes with increasing amplitude. After amplitude of the patient's body motion is increased, and the muscles are relaxed, the masseur puts the patient's hand on his back while keeping on making pushes of the same amplitude. With his other hand, the masseur works on interscapular region. Then massage procedure is performed from the opposite side. Time of total massage procedure is about 35-50 minutes; the massage course is 3-4 sessions.
EFFECT: method provides reliable pain management in the patient suffering from SHP.
