SUBSTANCE: invention refers to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of iron. Iron contains components at following ratio, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.4; silicon 0.8-1.2; manganese 0.2-0.4; magnesium 0.008-0.012; cerium 0.2-0.25; cobalt 0.2-0.4; boron 0.05-0.1, tungsten 0.5-0.7; iron - the rest.
EFFECT: increased toughness of iron.
