SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, particularly to compositions of cast iron, which can be used in machine building. Cast iron contains, wt %: carbon 3.0-3.4; silicon 2.8-3.2; manganese 0.2-0.4; cobalt 0.2-0.25; boron 0.06-0.08; niobium 1.0-1.2; silver 0.001-0.002; iron is rest.
EFFECT: technical result is high strength of cast iron.
