FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydraulic units designed to provide for easy and reliable connection/disconnection of pipelines operated under pressure at service sites of airfields and space ports, or industrial bays engaged in hydraulic or pneumatic tests. Proposed connector comprises butt-jointing branch pipes furnished with anti-friction rings covered by a sleeve accommodating rotary element. The latter is furnished with ledges arranged at their center of revolution and interacting with holes made in the valve. Valve LH and RH threads interact with mating threads of branch pipes. Rotary element has openings for working medium to pass through. One of screws-levers makes a safety valve. Rotary element located therein features a hole to release excess pressure originating in locking hydraulic lock. Note here that butt-jointing branch pipes are held inside the sleeve by, for example cap nuts.
EFFECT: higher reliability and self operation.
