FIELD: physics, tests.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of tests and non-destructive check with the help of ultrasound and may be used for detection of gas and liquid leaks in hydrogas systems. Acoustic leak detector comprises piezoelectric transducer, preliminary amplifier, unit of heterodyne transformation, which includes double balance mixer and heterodyne with the purpose of frequency control, filtration unit comprising band filter and low-pass filter, unit of switches that contains two synchronously controlled and single independent switches, unit of matching amplifiers and unit of visual and audible indication. Outlet of preliminary amplifier is connected to the first inlet of mixer, outlet of mixer is connected to inlets of band filter and low-pass filter, outlets of band filter and low-pass filter are connected to inlets of the first switch, outlet of the first switch is connected to inlet of matching amplifiers unit, outlet of the latter is connected to inlet of visual and audible indication unit, and the second and third switches are connected to control circuits of heterodyne frequency.
EFFECT: improved accuracy of control and expansion of application field.
