FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: acoustic leak detector for pipelines has an audio indicator, as well as series-connected microphone, amplifier, block of band-pass filters and amplitude detector. According to the invention, the acoustic leak detector for pipelines is fitted with a sound synthesiser, an audio frequency generator and a memory unit for the minimum signal amplitude value, wherein the memory unit for the minimum value of amplitude of incoming signals is connected to the amplitude detector and to one input of the sound synthesiser, whose other input is connected to the audio frequency generator and the output - to the audio indicator.

EFFECT: reduced effect of noise on the level of useful acoustic signal.
