FIELD: physics; simulation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to making spacecraft simulators and is meant for effective training of astronauts to control spacecraft on the orbital flight phase when approaching, berthing and docking with an orbital space station. The simulator consists of a training monitoring and control panel, command radio link simulator, sensor simulator, linear acceleration measuring device simulator, spacecraft motion simulator, integrated propulsion system actuators simulator, onboard digital computer system simulator, onboard control system simulator, first format forming unit and crew panel. The simulator additionally contains a space station motion simulator, mutual measurements system simulator, first, second and third visual environment generators, local vertical plotter simulator, second format forming unit, device for interfacing with an object, object movement control unit simulator, acoustic environment generator, crew station, consisting of a mockup cabin of the landing module of the manned spacecraft and including a video camera, device for simulating air-to-ground communication, handle for controlling sighting device of the astronaut, handle for controlling orientation, acoustic system, first and second visual illuminators, flight engineer's seat, captain's seat and mission specialist's seat.
EFFECT: wider functional capabilities, higher level and quality of training astronauts.
