FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method of producing granular lime-ammonia fertiliser through pelletisation in a rotating granulating machine involves feeding in initial granular fertiliser, which acts as pellet formation centres. The pellet formation centres used are ammonium nitrate prills, onto which separately fed liquid and solid components are deposited during pelletisation. The liquid component used is an aqueous solution at 100-110°C, containing 80-90 wt % ammonium nitrate, and an additive, containing 2 wt % ammonium sulphate, 2 wt % caustic magnesite and 0.5 wt % ammonium phosphate or an additive, containing 1 wt % caustic magnesite and 1 wt % ammonium phosphate. The solid component used is calcium- or magnesium carbonate. The solid component is added in form of powder with particle size of 200-50 mcm. Temperature inside the granulating machine is kept in the range 40-80°C, and the granulation process is carried out in plate-type granulating machines.
EFFECT: obtaining high-quality granular mineral fertilisers with regulated composition and amount of nutritional ingredients and with increased static strength, based on traditional granular mineral fertilisers.
