SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the method of pure melamine production in high-pressure process by preparation of melamine melt with waste gases removed. The said method is different in that melt melamine is cooled with water having purity more than 95% wt, then NH3 and CO2 are removed from obtained melamine solution and alkali is added to it, then mixture is left off for sedimentation, the following crystallising yields pure melamine.
EFFECT: claimed method allows obtaining of high-quality melamine while using less amounts of alkali
