FIELD: blasting work.

SUBSTANCE: initiator can be used in pyrotechnics, designs of igniters designed to initiate burning of various substance in sealed spaces. In compliance with the proposed invention, heating and igniting charges separated by indestructible barrier are arranged aligned in dead channels. Note here that igniting channel bottom represents semi-sphere, while that of heating charge features a ledge in the form of semi-sphere or truncated cone circumscribing it. Minimum thickness of aforesaid barrier makes at least the difference in radii of heating and igniting charge channels semi-spheres.

EFFECT: higher safety, reliability and tightness.
