FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to measurement equipment and may find application in automatic systems of control and stabilisation. Gyrotachometre comprises gyrounit installed on bearings in device body with the possibility of rotation relative to axis of suspension, torsion, electric damper and gyrounit turn angle sensor. Damper is arranged in the form of disk from material with low specific resistance, fixed on axis of gyrounit and magnetic system fixed on device body and arranged in the form of two rings from soft magnetic material, installed on different sides of disk along axis of device with minimum gaps and with the possibility of displacement along gyrounit axis. On one ring on the side of disk there are high-energy permanent magnets with magnetisation along device axis, evenly arranged along the whole area of ring with alternating polarity, creating complete number of pole pairs.
EFFECT: increased extent of gyrounit oscillations damping with simultaneous reduction of device dimensions; and also provision of possibility to control extent of gyrounit oscillations damping.
