FIELD: physics, measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to procedure of measurements at ultrahigh frequencies and may be used in measurement of amplitude, frequency, introduced phase fluctuation of signals in active devices of millimetre range of wave lengths - generators, amplifiers, etc. Metre of signal fluctuation in active devices of millimetre range of wave lengths comprises the first valve, inlet flange of which is flange of the third inlet of metering SHF circuit, and outlet is connected to inlet of waveguide tee, the first outlet of which is connected to the second flange of the first inlet of metering SHF circuit, and the second outlet - with the first flange of the second inlet of metering SHF circuit; the first flange of the first inlet of metering SHF circuit via the second valve, the first controlled attenuator, controlled phase changer is connected to inlet of circulator, the first input of which is connected to inlet of resonator of reflecting type, and the second outlet - to signal inlet of balance mixer; the second flange of the second inlet via the third valve, the second controlled attenuator is connected to heterodyne inlet of balance mixer; the first controlled source of shift current is connected to detector section of balance mixer, and outlet of signal of intermediate frequency of balance mixer via isolation circuit is connected to inlet of metering information processing unit; the second controlled source of shift current is connected to the second inlet of isolation circuit; in mode of measurement of frequency fluctuation between flanges of the first and second inlets, the first and second waveguide transitions are installed; in mode of measurement of introduced phase fluctuation between flanges of the second inlet, the second waveguide transition is installed.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of measurement on the base of united metering SHF circuit of the whose set of parametres of signal fluctuation-amplitude, frequency, introduced phase fluctuation.
