SUBSTANCE: invention is related to systems of mobile communication. Method of HMIPv6 service support for mobile unit includes stage, at which infrastructure of authentication, authorisation and administration of user accounts (AAA) is used, in order to initialise HMIPvG service, moreover, proper mobility anchor point (MAP) is assigned by means of mentioned AAA infrastructure to mobile unit for HMIPv6 service; and information for authentication and authorisation of mobile unit for HMIPv6 service versus assigned MAP is sent along mentioned AAA infrastructure.
EFFECT: improved support of Hierarchical Mobile IP service of 6 version (HMIPv6).
